JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an in-office intern to be responsible for daily HR activities for multiple clients using various systems and processes for each. The ideal candidate will assist the team operations with computer work, scanning, filing, entering employee data and general office responsibilities. Background experience in HR, while it would be helpful, is not necessary for one to thrive in this position. One will learn the many disciplines of HR and Business Development strategies while employed in this position, so a willingness and eagerness to learn is essential.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
•       Edit and/or re-write a wide variety of documents such as job descriptions, handbooks and employment documentation.
•       Work on a wide variety of client projects such as reorganizing and scanning confidential files, writing, and formatting companies job descriptions, creating company surveys as needed for our clients, and other random projects when they are assigned.
•       Upload essential client documents to different payroll and human capital management software’s such as Paylocity, ADP, Paycom, and/or any other software’s the client’s company utilizes.
•       Perform a variety of different tasks/projects around the office when instructed such as reorganizing binders, files, office supply room, etc.
•       Assist the executive team with special tasks and projects as needed to keep operations moving forward.
•       Performs other duties as assigned.
 
 
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
•       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•       Excellent multi-task skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
•       Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
•       Ability to prioritize tasks and problem solve them when appropriate.
•       Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
•       Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
•       Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn new systems.
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•       Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•       Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
