
Digital Marketing Specialist
Opportunity:
Outstanding opportunity for a digital-savvy individual to learn the detailed elements of a successful online e-commerce business from a team with successful Silicon Valley startup experience, including an IPO and an acquisition.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will assist with marketing research, pricing, photography, listing preparation, inventory management, and customer service activities for the vintage fashion items Atomic Digital Enterprises sells on multiple online e-commerce platforms (eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Etsy, Grailed, and Vestiaire Collective).
Requirements:
Students must be able to enroll in a Work Experience course (1-2 units) and commit to interning 60-120 hours during the term. Summer terms begins 6/12 – 8/3/23.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with, and ease navigating, online e-commerce platforms, both mobile and PC.
- Skilled with digital photography, to include prepping items, effective lighting, and staging.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, including revenue, expenses, cost of goods sold, profit, etc.
Learning Objectives:
- By the end of the semester, the student will be proficient in accurately preparing approximately 50 e-commerce listings for domestic and international customers per week
- By the end of the semester, the student will be able to package approximately 50 items and ensure they are accurately tracked in the centralized cloud-based inventory management system
- By the end of the semester, the student will have honed their customer service skills by researching answers and responding via email to roughly 15 customer questions per week regarding e-commerce listings and order status
